Thought before Action
Sustainability as analysis - Sustainability is not just about material choices, but about thoughtful analysis: What creates value? What is necessary? Art must challenge thought - and respect the world we create it in.
Natural Materials
Choices that count - Art prints are produced with sustainable materials. For frames, I prioritize natural oak. Originals are created on canvas or handmade Italian paper - and I am in the process of switching to more sustainable paint.
Nothing Goes to Waste
Care in the process - Paint is used for the background: leftovers become new processes. Paper that would otherwise be forgotten or thrown away is given new life in works of art. Art is about transformation, including of materials.
