Prices

At Pontoppidan Art, we make reservations for any errors in our stated prices. Furthermore, we reserve the right to change prices without prior consent. At the same time, reservations are made for sold-out items.

Payment

Pontoppidan Art receives payment with Visa Dankort, Mastercard & MobilePay. Payment will only be deducted from your account when the item is shipped. All amounts are in DKK—Danish kroner and incl. VAT. Reservations are made for price errors and sold-out / discontinued items.

Delivery

Pontoppidan Art strives to ship orders placed before 17 o'clock the same day, or else it is shipped the next business day. When purchasing products from the webshop & without further ordering details (e.g., engraving of initials), the average delivery time is 1-5 business days. The time is calculated concerning production time.

When purchasing custom-made artworks, the delivery time is agreed upon via email between artist/seller & buyer.

The packages are sent in Denmark and abroad with GLS. Upon request and order of products outside stock and with unique details, the delivery agreement is agreed upon and confirmed by email.

Shipping costs 

Shipping costs in Denmark are DKK 50.- Shipping costs are calculated after payment for shipping abroad. 

Right of complaint

The Purchase Act grants a 2-year right of complaint. Our right of objection applies to defects in material and/or manufacturing. You can have the item repaired, exchanged, the money returned, or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation. The complaint does not apply to errors or damage committed by incorrect handling of the product/service. Complaining in "reasonable time" would be best after discovering the defect/error. Pontoppidan Art will cover return costs to a reasonable extent. Read more about your right to complain on the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority's website. Upon return, complaints, and use of the right of withdrawal, the item must be sent to:

Refusion

Regarding a refund, please enclose bank information in the form of reg. No. And account number so that the agreed amount can be transferred. The information can be provided by mail or other electronic forms as it is not sensitive information and will only be used to fulfil our refund.  

Return policy

Consumer customers have a 14-day full right of withdrawal on items purchased in our webshop. Terms and conditions regarding the sale of goods to business customers are available by further agreement.

The period is calculated from that day;
  1. Where you receive the order. 
  2. It gets the last item in physical possession when it agrees on several different items ordered in one order but delivered individually or in several rounds. 
  3. When it agrees to deliver goods consisting of several lots/parts, it gets the last batch, or last part in physical possession. 
  4. The first item in physical possession when it comes to the regular delivery of items over a certain period.
You must bear return costs.

Cancellation must be reported to us by 14 days after purchase, and from cancellation, you must return the shipment by 14 days after. The notice must be given per. Mail to info@pontoppidanart.com. In the notice, you must clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. If you want to send the item back to us, you must fill in the enclosed Return Form and send the item to:

You can not regret and simply refusing to receive the item without giving clear notice.

Goods except for the right of withdrawal 

The following product types are not included in the right of withdrawal:
  1. Products that are made according to the consumer's specifications or have a clear personal touch.
  2. Sealed goods which, for health or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return and where the seal is broken after delivery.
  3. Goods which, due to their nature, become inextricably mixed with others upon delivery.
  4. Items where the seal is broken.
  5. Non-financial services are provided if the service provider has commenced with the consumer's prior express consent and recognition that the right of withdrawal ceases when the service is fully completed.
  6. Delivery of digital content that is not delivered on a physical medium, if the execution has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and recognition thereof, that he or she thereby loses his or her right of withdrawal.
  7. Newspapers, magazines, or periodicals, however, exclude subscription agreements for such publications.
  8. Agreements entered into at public auction.
  9. Goods that deteriorate or become obsolete quickly. 

Returning

You must return your order without undue delay and by 14 days after you have exercised your right of withdrawal. You must bear the direct costs of returning. When you return an item, you are responsible for properly packing it. You must enclose a copy of the order confirmation in the package. You bear the risk of the item from delivery until we have received the return. 
 

The condition of the item upon return

Du hæfter kun for eventuel forringelse af varens værdi, som skyldes anden håndtering, end hvad der er nødvendigt for at fastslå varens art, egenskaber og den måde, hvorpå den fungerer. Du kan med andre ord prøve varen, som hvis du prøvede den i en fysisk butik.
Hvis varen er prøvet udover, det der ovenfor beskrives, betragtes den som brugt. Hvilket betyder, at du ved fortrydelse af købet kun får en del eller intet af købsbeløbet retur, afhængig af varens handelsmæssige værdi på modtagelsestidspunktet - af returneringen. For at modtage hele købsbeløbet retur må du altså afprøve varen uden egentlig at tage den i brug.
 

Refund

If you regret your purchase, you will get the amount you paid back to us. In the event of an impairment for which you are liable, this purchase amount will be deducted. 
When exercising the right of withdrawal, all payments received from you, including delivery costs (excluding additional costs due to your choice of a form of delivery other than the cheapest form of standard delivery that we offer), will be refunded without undue delay and within 14 days from the date where we have been notified of your decision to exercise the right of withdrawal. Refunds are made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
We can only withhold the refund once we receive the returned item unless you have previously provided documentation that you have returned it.
 

Compliant

A complaint about a product or service can be submitted to the Center for Complaint Resolution, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg. You can complain to the Center for Complaint Resolution via the Complaints Portal for the House of Boards. Link: Complaint portal for the House of Boards

At Pontoppidan Art, we protect your personal data and only process it according to the provisions of the Data Protection Ordinance and the Data Protection Act in force at any given time.
We are always ready to help and happy to answer questions regarding our personal data processing. The above contact information is used for inquiries. We strive to answer your inquiry as soon as possible and within the applicable deadlines in the Data Protection Ordinance and the Data Protection Act.

Processing of personal data

Personal data is all types of data that can be attributed to you that make you identifiable.
Processing personal data includes every action from storing your data to deleting it. 


Purpose

Newsletters
For us to send out newsletters to you, we use your e-mail signature information. The treatment is based on consent. Your consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at the bottom of the e-mail with the newsletter or by contacting the address above. After this, you will no longer receive newsletters from Pontoppidan Art.
 
Inquiries about products
We use your name, e-mail signature information, and telephone number to answer your query about specific products or the possibility of having a unique product produced. The treatment is based on consent, which is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time. You can withdraw your consent by contacting Pontoppidan Art at one of the above addresses. You will then be deleted from our system.
 
Invoicing and delivery
To complete the payment and delivery of products, we use your name, telephone number, e-mail signature information, payment information, billing, and delivery address. The processing takes place based on the fulfilment of the contract.

You can exercise the following rights by contacting Pontoppidan Art using the contact information above. We will make sure to meet your request as soon as possible. 

Consent
Your consent is voluntary, and you can withdraw your consent at any time.

Right to insight
You have the right to gain insight into how we process your personal information.

Right to rectification
You have the right to have the information we process about you corrected at any time.

Right to delete
You have the right to have your information deleted at any time. The exercise of this right means that we delete all information about you. 

Right to limited treatment
You have the right to restrict your information's processing at any time. The exercise of this right is conditional on the conditions for it to apply. 

Right to data portability
You have the right to:

  1. Get data about yourself, handed out to yourself, without hindrance.
  2. Transfer your personal data from Pontoppidan Art to another data controller without obstacles.

Right to object
You have the right to object to the processing of your information if the applicable conditions apply. 

Storage period 

Pontoppidan Art retains the information for as long as necessary or as long as other legislation provides. 

Disclosure

Pontoppidan Art uses external suppliers for Cloud solutions, sending out newsletters, and payment solutions.
Pontoppidan Art only uses data processors in the EU or secure third countries, as well as companies in countries that can provide the necessary guarantees for protecting your data. As data processors in countries outside the EU, Pontoppidan uses Art and Shopify. The transfer is based on CCPA.

Security

Pontoppidan Art takes appropriate technical and organizational security measures to ensure that your data is not processed violating applicable law.

Compliant to the danish data protection agency

If you find that Pontoppidan Art processes information in violation of applicable law, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency. You will find the Data Inspectorate's contact information on the website: www.datatilsynet.dk.
