Think before you Act
Sustainability as analysis - Sustainability is not just about the choice of materials, but about thoughtful analysis: What creates value? What is necessary? Art must challenge thought - and respect the world we create it in.
Natural Materials
Choices that count - Art prints are produced with sustainable materials. For frames, I prioritize natural oak. Originals are created on canvas or handmade Italian paper - and I am in the process of switching to more sustainable paint.
Nothing Goes to Waste
Care in the process - Paint is used for the background: remnants become part of new processes. Paper that would otherwise be forgotten or thrown away is given new life in works of art. Art is about transformation, including the transformation of materials.
