Pontoppidan Art is philosophical, poetic art by Caroline P. Vest, expressed through portrayed tranquillity, figurative abstraction and existential writing that reflect current unanswered questions about human existence and the atmosphere we find ourselves in. Pontoppidan Art interprets and mediates life as it is lived here amid the chaos of (im)possibilities.
"By creating original artworks, my art reflects the human nature that makes mistakes and takes chances, a nature that mixes colours and knows very little about straight lines. The artworks express Art and Philosophy as the essence of existence - the understanding, the confusion and the eternal drive. It is the chaos of possibilities & the illumination of the choices I make, the truth I know and the freedom I use."
Pontoppidan Art offers original paintings mainly created from oil on linen canvas for lasting quality and expression, & written philosophical and poetic works that are handwritten on Italian handmade paper and sustainable recycled natural paper.
To represent the originals, it is possible to find art posters that tell the story of each unique original work. All art posters are photographed in natural light and designed to reproduce the original painting's colour and brushstrokes as best as possible.
